I'd say, first off, the spots of this bird truly bring out its outer beauty. It's earth tone colors blend well with the fogged background. It's a simple, yet elegant picture, showing off a white eared catbird's destiny to fly in the sky (too much?)
To simplify, it is truly remarkable, but I would say it isn't the most original thing in the world. The background is blurred nicely and contributes to the effect of the picture even more; you could say it's framing the catbird.
And, Rainylake, you managed to catch a glimpse of the vivid green on this bird's back; a startling contrast to the duller tones.
